In an interview with the NZ TAB on the eve of the VRC Oaks in November – Sir Owen outlined his ambition to support a revitalized NZ industry gaining confidence. On the back of additional race and funding announcements and hot on the heels of a successful Karaka Millions race night – Sir Owen delivered on this promise with Go Bloodstock purchasing a beautiful SAVABEEL colt ex PENDANT from the famed Waikato Stud.
Long time trusted agent Paul Moroney was the Go Bloodstock man on the ground at Karaka and this SAVABEEL yearling colt was Paul’s #1 pick of the sale. Having selected the likes of PURE ELATION, MISS DEBUTANTE and a multitude of stakes winners for Sir Owen over the year – Go Bloodstock was happy to trust Paul with his selection.
Hopefully this colt can be the heir to SAVABEEL’s throne in NZ as a future stallion and maybe he will be racing for Go Bloodstock on Karaka Millions night in 12 months time.
