Coolmore have made a habit through history of purchasing the best sons of their best stallions and they may have struck gold here with the purchase of 2yo colt STORM BOY – the best son of Coolmore’s once in a generation Champion JUSTIFY.
Trained by the powerhouse stable of Gai Waterhouse & Adrian Bott – STORM BOY impressed all form analysts with a dominate display of sustained speed in winning the Magic Millions 2yo Classic in January. As the betting favourite for the Golden Slipper- Coolmore then completed the acquisition of STORM BOY – their next champion racehorse and stallion.
Sir Owen has been a long time friend, client and supporter of Coolmore via Go Bloodstock and was honoured to be afforded the opportunity to join Coolmore in the purchase of a 2yo colt like STORM BOY. We now look forward to a future of shared success both in the stallion barn on the racetrack.
