Following in the footsteps of her half-sister PLATINUM JUBILEE – our Go Bloodstock homebred LADY OF CAMELOT lived up to her family expectation and looked every bit the talented filly we thought she might be when posting an impressive win on Monday in the first 2yo trial for fillies of the year – posting a sizzling time.
Racing away from the rail and in the centre of the track proved no obstacle for our daughter of WRITTEN TYCOON who extended away strongly for the most impressive of trial debuts. Having pulled up in good order – LADY OF CAMELOT looks to emulate her sister for her own crowing moment in the Gimcrack Plate next week. What a result that might be for Sir Owen’s blue-hen MISS DEBUTANTE whose first two foals (and runners) are Group winning 2yos.
Special thanks go to elite 2yo trainers Gai & Adrian, to Matt Vella who educated this filly and she has never missed a beat and to the team at Newgate who raised her to be the precocious racehorse she is. We cannot wait to see what her future holds. What an exciting season of 2yo racing ahead.
