Sir Owen and the Go Bloodstock team take great satisfaction in seeing our homebred Group winning horse RISE OF THE MASSES back in the winners circle at Warwick Farm on his 4yo seasonal debut. Showing all the guts and heart that we became familiar with during a 2yo season that took in a Pago Pago Stakes win and Slipper run – RISE OF THE MASSES was back at it on Wednesday to fend off all challengers and get his head back in front for an impressive return win after an injury enforced layoff.
Special thanks go to Gai & Adrian who have trained RISE back to form and to Adam Hyeronimus for a perfectly executed ride. Also a special word of thanks to Rhys Stones for his equitation work early in RISE’s training. RISE will now gradually step up in grade and we look forward to getting him back competing amongst the best like he did as a 2yo.
RISE OF THE MASSES is a good looking son of RUSSIAN REVOLUTION and a proud product of the Go Bloodstock breeding program. He has a pedigree to match being a son of Group 1 winner RUUD AWAKENING and so a half-brother to the talented KUNDALINI with a SNITZEL 2yo and EXTREME CHOCIE yearling in the wings. This is a family we hold on high regard with the best yet to come.
