RUTHLESS DAME lived up to her name last Saturday when posting a dominant win in the Group 1 Robert Sangster Stakes in South Australia. Congratulations to all connections including trainers Ciaron Maher & Dave Eustace who also train another 2023 Group winning graduate of the Go Bloodstock breeding program in STEEL CITY.
A special word of thanks goes to Paul Moroney who secured mum RUTHLESS LADY for Sir Owen and to Gordon Cunningham and his top class Curraghmore team. Go Bloodstock keep a select broodmare team with Gordon that has now produced another Group 1 winner to go alongside NZ Derby winner ASTERIX from 2022.
The future looks bright for RUTHLESS DAME and mum RUTHLESS LADY who is safely in foal to another Group 1 winning Go Bloodstock graduate in SWORD OF STATE – carrying a rocket. We are very proud of the job our broodmares have done this year and we are only getting started.
