Sir Owen & the Go Bloodstock team were thrilled to land the time honoured Group 1 Queensland Derby on Saturday with our great partners at Newgate. The Kiwi connection of Chris Waller & James McDonald delivered a memorable win and a historic 1-2 for our partnership. Congratulations to all involved – well deserved.
We were also celebrating last Wednesday as our patience was rewarded with homebred 3yo FRONT RANK who ran the opposition into the ground over 1250m on debut at Canterbury last week. An excellent Tim Clark ride delivered the impressive win for Gai & Adrian and we now look to the future with our full brother to SWORD OF STATE who looks to become stakes performer ex the very talented IN THE VANGUARD who is expecting to SWITZERLAND this year.
