4yo NEVER SECOND lived up to her name with an impressive 1000m win yesterday at Goulburn. This makes it back to back wins for the Go Bloodstock / Matt Vella team with jockey Chad Lever getting the win in the Go Bloodstock silks once again.
NEVER SECOND is not straightforward so this was a good training effort from Matt and the Glenn Haven team. She thrives in the beautiful & peaceful surroundings we are lucky to have at Glenn Haven.
With 2 wins and a 2nd from 5 starts – we feel the penny is dropping for NEVER SECOND and she has a bright future ahead as she progresses through the grades.
