Later on in the day, a daughter of the Arrowfield Stud stallion proved popular, realising $800,000 after being purchased by Paul Moroney Bloodstock and Go Bloodstock Australia.
Catalogued as Lot 447, she is the fourth foal out of the winning More Than Ready (Southern Halo) mare Champagne Run, who is herself a three-quarter sister to Group 1 winner Benicio (More Than Ready) and a half-sister to Group 2 winners Friesan Fire (A.P. Indy) and Villermont (All Too Hard).
Her two foals to race, who have both won, include the Group 3-placed Cristal Eyes (All Too Hard).
At the close of trade yesterday, John Messara expressed his delight at the way Redoute’s Choice has been received by buyers on the Gold Coast.
